What would we change if we took the possibility of a better Sweden seriously? Det Nya Sverige gathers fifteen proposals into a public site where the ideas can be read and considered together.
I wanted to give the proposals somewhere to live beyond a passing post. A place to examine an argument, move between ideas and decide what deserves a closer look.
These are proposals I am putting into the conversation. They should be read as a civic contribution, with room for disagreement and further work.
Make the thinking available
Publishing the proposals together makes their connections visible. It also gives a reader something specific to respond to: a proposition, its reasoning and the questions it raises.
The site is part of the work. Making an idea easier to inspect is a useful step towards finding out whether it holds up.
