Before we work together, ask your AI what might help us collaborate well. Or use it to explore an idea you found here. You don’t need to read a protocol specification first.

Connect the public MCP

If your AI application supports remote MCP servers, add the endpoint below through its connector or MCP settings. Exact steps and availability differ between applications.

1. Open the setup guide and choose the instructions for your application.
2. Add the endpoint. This is a public, read-only source of context.
3. Ask the first question above, starting with the short version and relevant sections.
4. Check the answer’s source links and ask a follow-up.

What you are connecting to

The server provides the profile, individual sections, search, sources and version information. It gives access to the public material I have selected, not my private workspace or conversations. It cannot act or make commitments on my behalf.

Some clients have access limitations. The setup guide records those limitations and links the current official client instructions. If a connection fails, the readable profile and downloads remain useful alternatives.

The idea behind it

PPCP is a draft Public Personal Context Protocol. It explores how people can carry a sourced, maintainable public account of themselves into different AI systems. The draft protocol and my own profile are separate parts of that work.
