# #ensakidag

Earlier thinking, new connections, and an archive you can explore with AI.

I started #ensakidag in 2017 because I needed to get out of my own head for a while. I had been deep in a large project in Palma, and talking to a camera became a way to think aloud with other people.

The format was simple: take one thing happening in technology or on the internet, explain why it matters, and ask what it might mean for us. In Swedish, usually in a few minutes. Occasionally I get carried away.

Those reflections became a record of what I was noticing, wondering about and sometimes getting wrong. When I returned to the project in 2026, I wanted to work with that history: find a thought again, follow a connection, see what had changed.

## The archive started with a practical need

I wanted my AI assistants to have access to my earlier material. That was the starting point for the archive and its MCP connection. Then it made sense to give people a website through which to explore it too.

You can search the archive, read episode transcripts and follow related subjects. A compatible AI assistant can also retrieve the material. Original episodes sit alongside AI-produced summaries, connections and retrospective commentary.

## A record of thinking, with its dates attached

Something I said years ago is a record of what I said then. A later AI assessment is another layer, with its own limitations. Both can be interesting without pretending they are the same thing.

For me, part of the pleasure is discovering something I had forgotten saying. Another part is seeing what someone else makes of it. A conversation can keep developing long after the recording ends.

## A useful place to start

Episode 500 tells the story behind making the archive useful again. Or bring your own subject: find an earlier episode, look at the original material and ask which question is still worth exploring.
