# The dreamers of Tjärö, sixteen years later.

2026-08-13 · Joakim Jardenberg. English translation by AI. Original wording preserved. Titles and image descriptions added by AI.

Today marks 16 years since the SSWC book was released. I’ll come back to those 16 years, but above all I felt that, amid today’s hopelessness, there might be something valuable in being reminded of another time.

“Drömmarna” in the title means both the dreamers, all of us who were there, and the dreams and hopes we felt then and chose to put into words.

I hope you’ll find this as charming a walk down memory lane as I did when I happened to stumble across the book again a few nights ago…

Produced by AI, of course; I’ve just helped a little. And although the source material didn’t have an open licence, I sincerely hope everyone involved back then will feel this is OK. Please get in touch otherwise.

## Original wording
